The Artists
Danielle grew up in the West Kootenays and spent the majority of her childhood getting lost in the woods, giving her a deep appreciation for the natural world. In the winters, she can be found ice climbing or skiing in the Rockies, while in the summer she enjoys rock climbing in Squamish.
Working as both a hiking guide and an artist, she finds the two paths compliment each other well. The outdoors is a source of constant inspiration for her art, as the majority of her paintings are of places she’s been while out on backcountry adventures.
Noel is a self-lived artist based out of Wakefield, Quebec, Canada. Her work reflects both the personal and collective subconscious drive to be reconnected with Source and Self, and echos themes of sacred feminine, devine archetypes, death and rebirth. She works in many mediums including tattoo at her salon Sabee Studio in Wakefield, Quebec. Her art and ethos align perfectly with what SmashGrrrl is about.
